Privacy Policy
Mrutyunjay Studio ("we", "our", or "us") developed Recall Rush as a sequence memory battle game. This Privacy Policy describes how information is handled when you use our Android, iOS, or web applications.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
Recall Rush is built with a strict privacy-by-design philosophy:
- We do not require a real name, email address, physical address, phone number, or payment information to play as a guest.
- Google, Apple, and anonymous sign-in are optional. We do not receive your Google or Apple password.
- We do not access contacts, camera, microphone, photos, location, or sensitive device sensors.
2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
When playing in local or guest mode, the app uses your device's local storage (e.g. AsyncStorage or browser LocalStorage) solely to store:
- Your chosen Gamer Tag (e.g., "Player 1")
- Your selected in-game avatar
- Sound mute/unmute preferences
This data stays on your device during offline play and can be erased at any time by clearing the application data or browser cache. If you choose Online Battle, the selected gamer tag and avatar are included in the temporary room data described below.
3. Optional Sign-In (Firebase Authentication)
If you choose to sign in, Google Firebase Authentication processes a unique user ID and the authentication provider you selected. Google or Apple may also provide your email address, display name, and profile image, depending on your provider settings and consent. Anonymous sign-in creates a unique user ID without requiring an email address. We use this information only to authenticate you, maintain account access, and process account deletion requests.
4. Online Multiplayer Gameplay (Firebase Realtime Database)
When you use the Online Battle mode:
- The app connects to Google Firebase Realtime Database using secure HTTPS/TLS encryption.
- Only match data is synchronized: the temporary 4-letter room code, player avatars, gamer tags, turns, scores, and sequence numbers entered during that match.
- The other player in the private room can see the gamer tag, avatar, turns, and score needed to play the match.
- Rooms are deleted during normal host exit and match cleanup. If a connection ends unexpectedly and a room remains, you may request deletion using the contact details below.
5. Advertising and Third-Party Tracking
The Android and iOS apps are free and show ads served by Google AdMob (banner, full-screen, native and optional rewarded video ads). The web game does not show ads.
- To serve and measure ads, AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA), IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and app information, and ad interaction data. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
- iOS: the app asks for App Tracking Transparency permission. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", ads are shown without the IDFA.
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: a Google consent message lets you accept or refuse personalized ads before they are requested. You can reset the advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization in your device settings at any time.
- Rewarded videos are always optional; they only unlock in-game bonuses such as an extra life or extra time.
- Ad content is limited to a general-audience (PG) rating.
6. Children's Privacy
Recall Rush is safe for players of all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe any personal data has inadvertently been provided, please contact us immediately for deletion.
7. Data Retention & Account / Data Deletion
Recall Rush allows play without mandatory named account sign-up. You can permanently delete a Google, Apple, or active anonymous Firebase Authentication profile through our self-service portal. 8. Service Providers and Data Transfers
Firebase Authentication, Realtime Database, and Hosting are provided by Google. These services may process technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, security logs, and service diagnostics to operate and protect the service. Their processing is governed by Google's applicable terms and privacy commitments.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
